Spring Finally Arrived

“Want to sleep with me? You have feelings for me, don’t you?”
Those words were my last piece of pure love that came in winter. A love that began in spring and cooled far too quickly. The cost of it was heavier than I ever imagined—it crushed me.
“Sixteen weeks pregnant.”
Even though it was the price of my own choice.
Six years later, he suddenly shows up again. Every moment feels like walking on thin ice, afraid he’ll find out about the child I secretly had. Yet no matter how many times I push him away, he keeps coming back.
“You asked why I came looking for you. What else could it be? The only thing I remember is that night.”
With an absurd proposal, he continues to circle around me. But to protect my child, I can’t allow myself to open my heart to him again.
